Please let me know the Bonus Act with amendment (if any). Its applicable limit and percentage of Basic salary

Dear member,
It will be more better if you firstly go through The Payment of Bonus Act, 1965 and rules framed therein. After studying the said Act and Rules, if there is any doubt, you can raise the same with your specific doubts. i am sure, the experienced members will offer their comments on desired subjects.

Dear Sir, Some members are quoting 8.33% and some are 11% for minimum to pay as per act.now confusion that how much would be actual minimum? If there is official GR would be better. Regards, Ajit

As the maximum limit for the Bonus Act is Rs.10,000/- can an employer is liable to pay bonus on salary more than 10,000.
