Hi
If you know little bit of database techniques then you can use Microsoft Access for maintaining the resume database.
In that there are already build databases which you can download directly and with little modification and customization u can use for any purpose you want

Ipsita,
Thanks for the suggestion. In fact thanks to all for the help extended. But i think there must be something better to maintain the database only. May be filtering in the excel sheet or using the MS Access. If i'll find something useful for all, i'll definitely revert.
Hemanta,
You can just log on to google.com, type E-staff and it would give you an option to download the software.

Dear Ipsita,
The E-staff software that you suggested is indeed wonderful, very comprehensive and very useful. But i want to know if you too are using it or if you know someone who's currently using it? My main concern is that the software is absolutely free to use. But is it expected that in a month or so, the software stops working and it prompts us to buy? If yes, how much does the software cost? For a free ware it is impossible to expect any support as well.
I would like to have the opinion that is it advisable to invest time & effort on free ware or not?
