Dear Seniors,
Recently we have noticed a issue in gratuity, this is a new thing for us that if an employee is not worked less than 240 days in a calendar year, this law is saying he/she is not eligible to get the gratuity for that year,
The employee has worked more than six years in the company. And the management is asking us to look into this clause.
Can u explain me in details.

Hi an employee does not complete the continuous service for a period which are specified in Gratuity act, he/she is not eligible for payment of gratuity.
