As per The Payment of bonus act a employee is entitled to get bonus, if he has worked for 30 days in an accounting year. If a person joined on 1st March & worked full month, i.e. 26 working days & 5 weekly off, does he/she will be eligible for bonus?? Here in this case working day will be 26 or 31?

In my view, the weekly offs shall also be included in computing 30 days worked by an employee since they are statutorily allowed to him and thus he is eligibel for bonus for the relevant accounting year.
