Hi! Folks
How do you deal with situations- where candidates who have given their acceptance about attending interviews - 2-3 days in advance do not turn up or call up on the day to express inability.
How can such scenarios be prevented.
I am a recruiter from Bangalore and am facing a lot of flak from one of my clients due to this problem. Any ideas suggestions will be welcome.

CANDIDATE ATTENDANCE.
These situation could occur,
-demand is more than supply.
-on learning about the company , some would drop out.
-second thoughts about leaving the current job.
etc etc.
You could do the following
-never mention the client's name.
-offer some incentive [ book or key ring or coffee mug ]
-if it is a very senior position, invite them for a breakfast.
-24 hours before the interview ring / double check the applicant.
FOR DESPARATE SITUATION, YOU SHOULD GO OUTSIDE
THE SQUARE FOR SOLUTION.
