Don't do anything without having any solid proof.... he might be joking... and you might have misunderstood...... first confirm that the fishes are in the pond before setting the net..... if you are so morally bounded i think that you should not be so irresponsible to take such a big steps..... like betraying your so called "friend" and indulging others in an unproductive matters..... wasting their precious time...... at last my friend... be mature.

like many said, getting better or higher salary depends on the talent of the person as well as the need of the firm. How many of us don't know the people who got lower salaries than what they were paid in their past companies? Even there are people with similar skills or even better than we are but still paid way less than we do. Does any one even bother about those things? And did you ever do? If not then, why now? if you want, go try your luck in different company and see what are you worth of? or take a chill pill and relax..

Hello Dear.
You want to hear the truth, you are envious and if you dwell on it for too long might lead high blood pressure for you. My advice, stop thinking about it and if you feel strongly that it is a bad act, dissociate yourself from the source-your friend. Bad company corrupts good manners!

Hello,
I would like to repeat what Debdeepb34 has said,"Wait and watch if he gets fired in next 6 months. If not then he deserves that salary for his talent and skill set combination. "
As pointed out companies are business organizations who are here to make profit. If they feel they should pay him 14.5 lakh they are free to do so.Coming to second point.Wheter your friend deserves it? Time will tell the answer to this.If he doesnt, the same compnay will fire him before you could blink. But if he deserves it then he should get it.

Hi Man,
This posting is out of Personal Envy with the person whom you referred as so called "FRIEND". First make it clear if he is your real friend, if so, stop posting such things in a common forum like this and betray your friend, at the same time if he is not your friend but just for the sake of posting you want to refer the person as a Friend, it's just a positive waste of time, ignore and keep moving.
There are lot many things in life which you (we) need to bother about in a productive way, instead, wasting time on such things in a knowledge sharing forum is not appreciated.
You feel like you are equally competent enough with your friend or more, try to sell yourselves in the job market with all the potentials you have... As some of the members said wait for some more span and if your so called friend is sustaining in the system then he deserves that pay.
None of the company pays more for a lesser competent employee (always). IT'S A COLD DAY IN HELL.

I think you should concentrate on your work more and try to achieve the best with true and the right direction. The thing that you are writing creates jealousy with in self and henceforth your performance will deteriorate.
