Hi there Celine,

I do agree with all the feedbacks above as what to be included in the ID Card. In addition to that, you or the company should also determine what is the purpose and use of the ID Card. To some organisation, ID Cards are not just for the purpose of identification. It is for security reasons as well. For example; to identify an employee and non-employee, to have access to certain offices or buildings and etc. Some ID Cards also comes with security features such as embedded microchip, thumb print, magnetic strip and etc. With these security features, the company can control and monitor the movement and the usage of the ID Cards. This however will depend on how crucial the company is in terms of security.

However, if your company would just one to have the ID Card for identification purposes, then you don't need to have all these high tech features. But, for security purposes I think it's better for your company to also include Serial Numbers for the ID Cards. Well, in todays modern world, with all the high tech computers and all, people can easily duplicate the ID Cards and misuse them. If such things happened, then the reputation of the Company could be in jeopardy.

That's all I could share for now.

Cheers!

Hi Celine,
Are you going to use the ID Card for Identification purpose alone or you are going to connect it with Attendance purpose. If so you have to consult some good ID Card makers. They will inturn give you some sample cards & will also explain you the usage of the cards.
If you are located in chennai then i could have given you the concern name whom we have purchased the ID Cards.
If you need further help kindly contact me in my personal mail id
Hoping this should have helped you a lot.
Thanks & Regards,
Caroline.
