Hi. I am from India. Do companies select employees who have onsite experience to work at offshore? Could anyone clarify my doubt? Thanks in advance.
And also could anyone let me know the salary hike that companies provide for a employee who has onsite experience?

Dear,
All relevant work experience will count for all work depending on the requirement for the client. Salary is a discretionary component in the hand of company and depends on what you can accept to work with them.

Hello pruthvikondabathini,
Pl note that the key word in the response of Ukmitra is: 'relevant'.
Also salary is linked with YOUR Interview performance--NOT just qualifications or eligibility.
However, one thing that has been noticed with those currently on-site & looking for off-shore jobs is: they 'tend' to think in terms of Dollars than Rupees while discussing the salary [converting the Rupee salary to US$ before deciding]. Such mentality needs to be curtailed IF the job has to be your's. When India-based jobs are being considered, THINK in Rupees.
All the Best.
