Dear All,
Esi is applicable on uniform and medical or not kindly confirm if no then we is it necessary to have the reimbursment bill of these components.
Can we give the employee medical reimbursment as a part of salary, if the employee is cover under the esi.

ESI is applicable on all the allowances, ESI is not applicable on any reinbursement but it should be on bills only.
Yes, you can give employee medical reibursement, but it should not be part of the salary and it should be against the medical and you cannot treat this as part of the salary.

Dear All.
What MuKesh stated is correct it will not applicable for reimbursements.
You can eliminate Uniform Allowances from ESI wages if you are providing uniforms to the employees. The purchase bills for uniform are sometimes asked for.

Dear Arti,
No, ESI is not applicable on conveyance reinbursement, but you have to keep the bills ready in this regard. But if you will keep Conveyance allowance with salary conponents, then the ESI will be payable on the same.

Deduction of esic is only applicabe on the allowances covered under salalry & wages, not on reimbursement.
