hi thomas you no need to pay any bonus because the acts says that not profitable trust need not to pay any bonus. regds

Dear Thomas,
In reply to your query, I would suggest you to refer to Section 32 (v) (c) of the Payment of Bonus Act,1965, which excludes" the institutions (including hospitals, chambers of commerce and social welfare institutions) established not for purposes of profit".
In view of the above, you can examine, whether your hospital, which you claimed is run by charitable trust, is considered to be in the exempted category or not.
