Dear,
Man machine ratio means no.of manpower required to perform job proportionate to no.of machine in operation. For example machines includes cutting machine, sewing machine, k/b machine, sample sewing machine, alteration machine. If altogether 500 machines, required manpower is 1000 nos(Including operators). Hence for 500 m/c's 1000 manpower in the ratio of 1 : 2 (standard ration across industry)

What do you do and where? Why do you want to know the answer?
Do you know the difference between Direct and Indirect labour?
Have you searched the web? I did and found quite a few sites that answer your question. I suggest that you also search the web and, if you are still not clear, then raise the question again.
Have a nice day.
