Dear Sir,
Republic day is on 26-Jan. What will be the consequences if we declare Weekly Off on 26-Jan (Saturday) and run the factory on 27-Jan (Sunday) which is a normal Weekly Off in compensation of the weekly off given on 26-Jan ?
Legal Complication ?
Regards.

Dear Shekhar,
In Maharashtra 26th Jan, 15th August, 2nd Oct, 1st May are mandatory off. Advisable is not to tamper with these holidays. As far as Sunday is concern (i.e. 27th Jan), if majority is agreeing then u can keep the work on & compensate with some other day off.
regards.
