Laziness is common and a natural part of life, but it has the potential to completely consume us. Laziness is a habit rather than a mental health issue. It may reflect a lack of self-esteem, a lack of positive recognition by others, a lack of discipline stemming from low self-confidence, or a lack of interest in the activity or belief in its efficacy.

Laziness also comes to you as a form of distraction. For example, you open your phone to work on your manuscript and end up checking Whats App and Facebook updates instead?

And then there are times when you just find it easier to assume that it's not the right time, it's not the right place, etc.

Laziness takes many such forms. Sometimes, it can be physical.. sometimes, just a demotivated mind.

Ultimately, laziness causes time management issues and derails your goal achievement ratio.

Here are some ways in which you can get energized and motivated whenever you feel lazy:-

1. Focus on just a few things at a time

2. Exercise/Meditate

3. Allow yourself time to relax and do the things you enjoy

4. Get organized

5. Be aware of your self-talk
