Be honest, young and energetic, find observations of organisational culture and climate, study it for a month, meantime, give your daily report briefing areas where changes required to improve organisational health whether your boz accepts or not, that is different, put your views and innovative improvement activities, remind him about nature of job you are doing, get his feedback about organisational growth and its employees, involve yourself as a team member of your organisation, guide others in drafting, formatting, decision making, say hello, gud mrng every day, meet your boz daily and discuss important actions to be taken on particular day thro' proper checklist and after all before you leave and say thank you and goodluck.
After all, you have nice boz.

So what all things I have to keep in mind before attending a job for generalist profile. Also 1 thing I want to know as I have completed 3 yrs in my present org. but now i have signed a bond with my present org on a simple paper not on any legal or letter head. dear ritu,
So far my knowledge is concerned, HR Generalist handles almost every task of HR. s/he is responsible for recruitment, appraisals, managing attendance record, along with everyday events that happens on usual basis. as name depicts 'Generalist' it is actually a generalist of the HR field.
