Hi all,

Please help me, guys! My company started in March. CL - 7, SL - 7, and PL - 30. Now, I need to calculate the PL of each employee on a pro-rata basis. I need to know the exact formula to calculate.

Step 1: 30/12 * 9 = 22.5 days will be the actual PL eligibility for the year.

Step 2: 22.5 / The number of working days for the year * number of actual days worked by the employee for the year. This will be the general guideline.

If you want more info, please ask.

Dear Sender,

Since PL is 30 days, you will have to calculate at 2.5 days per month proportionately. Based on this, you can calculate the PL.

If the fraction is less than 1/2 day, then you may ignore it. If the fraction of leave is 1/2 day or more, you may consider it as 1 day.
