Hi, I have been asked to design a performance management system for a software company for both its IT and ITES sectors. But before that, I want to start off with competency mapping. Can anybody please help me out as to what are the steps that are needed to be followed for that? I need a PPT for that, a detailed step-by-step approach. Thanks a lot.

Basically, competency mapping involves identifying and allocating the key responsibility areas of each employee, as well as the job itself. It helps us determine the exact number of people needed for a particular assignment. In summary, for any assignment, the number of people allocated and their KRAs are crucial.
