I was asked to quit my job or accept termination within 1 hour. I chose the former as termination would mean a red flag in my career. The notice period to be served is for three months.
After speaking to former employees, I have concluded that the company follows a practice of relieving the employee exactly the same number of days before as the number of earned leaves. This is because they will pay the salary for the notice period but not for the earned leaves.
What recourse is available to the employee?
Should I ask for my complete salary in lieu? What if they come up with a false reason to terminate me?

Unethical HR Practices and Employee Rights
A company that can ask an employee to leave by submitting a resignation within just one hour or accept a termination letter without following any protocol or ethics of human resource management can do anything against you. They can tarnish your career by including negative remarks in any reports, feedback, or background verification. The background verification agency would be pleased to use this against you because their primary goal is to pinpoint any fault with the employee and exacerbate the situation.
Options for Employees Leaving for Government or Entrepreneurial Pursuits
If you are leaving the organization not to pursue a career in private establishments but to only join government service or PSUs or start your own venture, there are ways to hold the employer accountable. Unhealthy work practices should not be tolerated.
Considerations for Those Remaining in Private Sector
On the other hand, if you have no intention of leaving private establishments, then you may need to compromise and accept whatever is offered by the employer. Further discussions will depend on your decision.

Hi, No employer or HR will take such an extreme step unless there is an issue with the employee. Is it due to any misconduct on your part? Since you have already submitted your resignation voluntarily, it might be better to accept whatever is offered by the employer and ensure you are properly relieved. Your employer has also given you options with a view to handling your case amicably. Never strain your relationship with your employer, as you may face repercussions in the future.
