Key Elements of an Appointment Order
An appointment order should contain details regarding the joining date, designation, reporting location, transferability, probation, salary with bifurcation, employee benefits other than salary, termination clause, notice period, confidentiality matters, and prohibition of taking up business for profits. It should also include the dress code, if any, office timing, leaves admissible, and an outline of what is expected or not expected from the employee, such as misconducts.
