Hi Experts, I want to know if the government has declared a holiday and a private company decides to give a holiday to staff, and in return, they inform employees to work on the 2nd Saturday (which is an official holiday), is this legal?

Presumably, you have a five-day working schedule, and one Saturday has been designated as a working day to make up for the loss. It is not clear whether you work in a factory or office, as well as the terms and conditions of your appointment. In either case, objections cannot be raised against converting Saturday into a working day.
