Hello Friends, I have recently switched jobs, and now I want to continue with the same PF account with my new employer. However, the issue is that in my current month's payslip, the PF account is left blank. So I thought of checking the standing balance in my account on the EPF India website. To my surprise, the site states that the credentials provided are not valid. I contacted my previous employer regarding this, and they are saying that there is some issue with the EPF website. I smell a rat. Leading retailer in India. I am using the account details as provided in the payslip from the last drawn salary with my previous employer. KINDLY SUGGEST THE FURTHER COURSE OF ACTION.

Current month payslip means December paid in January.

Yes, the site is a bit troublesome, and if they have pending work, they may submit late. Now EPF number is not allotted by the employer, but the employer can submit the data to EPFO, and EPFO will generate the EPF and UAN numbers for the member. In case of any data mismatch with Aadhar/PAN, it gets rejected randomly. As it is the 1st salary slip, expect that in the next salary slip, your EPF number will appear.
