Some IT companies are adopting the two-way appraisal method, where both Team Leaders (TL) or Team Influencers (TI) and team members collaborate to discuss performance and provide ratings. Conversely, some companies utilize a one-way appraisal approach, where only Team Leaders or TIs are responsible for evaluating team members' performance. I would recommend the two-way appraisal method as it allows for a constructive discussion between both parties involved.
