Wishing you all a happy Pongal. One of my employees is asking for a refundable loan from EPFO. To my knowledge, this facility is not available. If anybody can provide an update or shed some light on this subject, I would be very grateful. Kindly assist me.
Yes, you are right. As far as the EPFO is concerned, all existing loans are non-refundable. However, exempted Trusts may provide refundable loans with an interest rate of 1% higher than the interest on deposit.
