Dear All,
We are a company based out of Chennai, involved in BPO operations. Lately, we have been experiencing a significant number of absconding cases among our employees.
I am interested in exploring whether it is common practice for companies to have employees sign bonds that commit them to stay with the company for approximately 1 1/2 years or more.
Could you please provide me with a list of companies that implement such bond agreements with their employees? This information will help us in our research as we consider whether to implement a similar practice in our company.
Thank you in advance,

Friend,
I would suggest using "agreement" instead of bond. Please make note of this. Generally, every company, when imparting training, especially in software, insists that employees sign the agreement in the interests of the company.
Apart from this, the company should have non-disclosure/confidentiality clauses in that agreement. This would suffice for your clarification. If there are any questions, please email me.
Best Regards,
