I wanted to understand and evaluate competency-based performance appraisal. Can anybody help with the below questions?

1. Have the competencies been established?
2. What was the procedure used for building competencies?
3. How is it working? Is it being used consistently in selection, placement, and maintenance functions of HR?
4. How are competencies linked to appraisals?
5. Are the employees happy with competency-based appraisals?
6. What are your thoughts on the process and suggestions for making the competency-based appraisal effective?
