I was working with the small start up company between 2016 to 2020, initially for 2 years I was getting regular salary but later my salary was irregular and sometime there was no salary, that company told me that they are facing some financial problem and will credit pending salary.. so to manage my expenses I have also done freelancing work for 7 months with their permission but now I am selected in the MNC and they are considering it dual employment during background check, I told them because they mentioned in the mail that dual employment past should be disclosed. My first question that freelancing was not on the payroll of other company, I was not getting pf only getting money on hourly basis so why they are considering it as dual employment and also services of both companies were also different. How should convince my present company ?
