As per Maharashtra, the Minimum Wage as of 01-07-2024 for the Skilled Category in the Engineering Industry is Rs 18,186. However, the upper wage limit for ESIC is Rs 21,000. This leaves a very narrow window for workers to be eligible for ESIC.
