Dear Sir, In my organization, which I recently joined, salary slips were not being given to anybody. Now, I want to provide salary slips to all employees. My question is whether to include travel allowance and daily allowance for salespersons in payslips. If yes, how can we show this? Under which headings? Please help.

Travel allowances and daily allowances for salespersons
Travel allowances and daily allowances payable to salespersons are not considered wages but are allowances paid specifically to them. Normally, these are paid based on actual expenses or according to certain slabs. If you include them in their salary, you may encounter issues when calculating gratuity or other benefits.
