If the poster's tenure with one of his previous employers was confirmed with incorrect details during the background check, he should notify the previous employer with the correct information he possesses. He should request them to send the accurate details to the MNC. Additionally, the poster should confirm that the details he provided are already correct by referring to the copies of documents he has.

Connect with your previous employer and request them to re-verify your employment details that they have communicated to your current employer. If the error is from the previous employer, request them to communicate the correction to your present employer through email.
