Dear all Members, I am working in the small-scale sector in Fabrication Industries, having an MSME Udyog number. We received factory building plan approval and permission from the local BDO office in Vanur Taluk, Villupuram District, Tamil Nadu, and have been paying license fees at the local BPO office for the last two years without ESI and PF. We have an employee strength of 17–20 on roll with a 70 HP power supply connection and a minimum of 10 contract laborers not on roll.
Registration and Licensing Requirements
(a) I would like to know whether we need to register with the I.O.F for approval purposes and obtain a factory license for our unit.
ESI and PF Registration Due to COVID-19
(b) Due to the COVID-19 effect, we would like to register for ESI and PF for the benefit of our employees. Is an I.O.F factory license required for this? The unit has been in operation for the last two years. How can we regularize with the I.O.F/ESI/PF department?
Please suggest the procedure or guidelines to help me proceed further.
