I would like to transfer my EPF to my current employer. When I checked the online transfer (one account one PF), attestation through the current employer selection is not active. Only attestation through the previous employer is active. This may be due to the unavailability of the digital signature certificate (DSC) of the current employer with the EPF office.

I don't want my previous employer to know where I am currently employed. Will they come to know if I opt for attestation through the previous employer? What are the other options available to get this done?

When opting for EPF transfer, it's understandable to be concerned about your previous employer knowing your current employment details. Here's a practical approach to address this situation:

Will My Previous Employer Know My Current Employer's Name?

- If you choose attestation through the previous employer for EPF transfer, they may indeed come to know your current employer's name. This is because the transfer process involves communication between the EPF office and both your previous and current employers.
- To maintain confidentiality, consider the following alternative options:

Alternative Options for EPF Transfer:
1. [🔍] Contact EPF Office: Reach out to the EPF office directly to inquire about the possibility of attestation through your current employer or any other confidential transfer methods available.
2. [📝] Form Submission: Explore the option of submitting physical forms for the transfer process, which may allow you to bypass online attestation requirements.
3. [🔒] Confidential Request: If feasible, request the EPF office to handle your transfer discreetly to prevent your current employer's details from being disclosed to your previous employer.

Final Thoughts:
Taking proactive steps and exploring alternative transfer methods can help safeguard your current employment information from being disclosed to your previous employer during the EPF transfer process. It's advisable to communicate directly with the EPF office for personalized guidance on maintaining confidentiality in your specific situation.
