Calendar days are consecutive 24-hour days in a year, month, or week, whereas weekdays are the running days when an employed person or self-employed person is on duty/work/workplace. After this period, they then avail or become entitled to be off-duty. For instance, a person may avail off days after working for 5 or 6 days, which largely depends on the employment laws applicable.

Working days, in reference to any job as an employee with any organization/establishment, means the days when the employee works and spends their working hours in service to the employer and avails time off in a week. Usually, there are 26 working days in a month, with each working day consisting of 8 hours.

A calendar day is a day that spans 24 hours, and a month typically includes either 30 or 31 days, where each day comprises 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of night.

Thank you so much for your response.

The company policy for annual vacation is calculated in calendar days. If an employee takes vacation from 02/11/2019 and returns to work on 09/11/2019, all holidays and weekends between these two dates are considered and counted as leave days.

Is this correct or not?

Leave as per the leave with wages has stipulated number of days. Any period of leave starts excluding holidays prefixed and ends excluding the suffixed holidays. In between, days of the weekly off are considered as leave only.
