Hi Everyone,
I joined this company 9 months ago. The management didn't waive off my probationary period. During the probationary period, I will have only 1 CL per month. After confirmation, I will be getting 2 CLs per month. The management has waived off probationary periods and increased salaries for employees who joined after me.
Should I consider this as a warning and submit my resignation?

Dear Jyothirmayee, legally, a probationer is on par with a confirmed/regular employee in respect of statutory leave benefits. Of course, the scale of its availment at a time or per month by a probationer can be restricted to a certain extent in view of their probationary status. I don't think that this is the only issue intriguing you to consider resignation at the very early phase of your employment. Why don't you conduct a self-introspection to find out the actual reasons for your being left out, while others who joined after you were advanced to the stage of confirmation?
Questions to Consider
What is the original length of your probation period? From day one, have you had any inexplicable dislike towards the job or the organization? Have you been appraised of your performance? If so, have you tried to improve your performance? Was your probation officially extended? Do you have a strong feeling that you have been wantonly passed over because of any personal reasons? Do you have any better alternative job on hand?
Try to find dispassionate answers on your own and then decide. But don't forget that a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
