Hello, I'm Abhishek Jaiswal, and I was hired in the helmet factory as an ABS machine operator. I signed a bond agreement with the company stating that I have to work in the factory for two years after the training. They provided me with seven months of training in China over three trips. After that, I am supposed to work in a new factory located in Kudus. However, due to some government land issues, the construction work has not yet started. It's been more than one year, including the training period.

Now, I have been waiting for my work for more than five months as instructed by the company. They are now assigning me to service the machines kept in a warehouse, but I didn't receive training for machine servicing. My department is production, but they are assigning me service work. It seems that it will take another year to start the factory and production. What should I do? If I continue waiting, it may affect my future career, but if I resign, I have to pay 2.5 lakh as mentioned in the contract.

Bond (Bondage), though illegal and illegitimate, is practiced by few behind-the-times and ahead-of-the-times employers. Why not execute a contract between contracting parties and specify legal terms that are not lop-sided. Trust is the key. In any case, any bond or contract entails specifics that are not altered. If the nature of your work has been altered, then the breach occurs first by the employer.

But in bond, it is mentioned that company can allow you a reasonable work if there is no work as your post.

I uploaded my bond paper as below. Please help me as they are spoiling my future by not arranging proper work for me for the last five months and not paying salary for all those months. My salary is only 13k, including PF. I come from an economically weaker background family. Please help.
