Dear Member, please answer the following query:

1. If an employee does not wish to continue investing in the EPF scheme during the service period after one year of contribution, is there any provision for doing this?

2. If it's not possible to discontinue, should the employer terminate and re-hire the employee to complete this compliance at the employer's end?

Either way, the employee does not wish to continue EPF contributions due to personal reasons, and there is no pressure from the employer in any case.

Please reply on how an employer can help the employee in this scenario.

if the establishment has EPF coverage and the employee has a past reocrd of EPF membership, then he can not be excluded in any case, but have to be contributory in all circumstances
