I have been suspended from my school, thereby I am receiving half of the salary. I recently resigned during my suspension period. Will I still receive the half salary or the full salary? The point is if I resign, will the suspension still be applicable or not?

Please make your question clear. You have been suspended. What were the enquiry/inquiry proceedings? What were the charges framed against you? Primafacie, what were the articles proposed against you? Who were the witnesses? Which authority ordered the suspension? During the proceedings, how did the authorities accept the resignation? Were the charges dropped upon accepting your resignation? Many questions need answers. It would be better to review the acceptance of your resignation and clear yourself from the charges. Understand the clause under which your resignation was accepted and the conditions for revoking the earlier orders to clear your doubts.

Best of luck.

During the suspension period, you are eligible for a "Subsistence Allowance" as per the service rules. If you submit your resignation, it is the employer's prerogative either to accept or reject your resignation. The employer may persist with disciplinary action. Attend enquiry proceedings and defend yourself. Resignation will not absolve the charges leveled against you.
