Employee Left After One Month: Should I Deduct PF and EPS Contributions or Not?

Dear All, If an employee has worked only one month and left the organisation. Shall I deduct the PF & EPS Contribution or settle his due without deduction of PF & EPS contribution. Please advice.

Hi,

If an employee has worked and his salary has been processed, even for a day, and if he is covered under PF, then it is mandatory to deduct PF contributions from his salary. Therefore, do not process the salary without deducting the PF amount.
