Hello, respective Team, my name is Shekhar Yadav, and I am living in Ghaziabad. I was working in Noida Sector 63 in a call center as a telesales executive (making calls to the UK). I worked there for 16 days, and they fired me due to non-performance (as per their policy, which was also mentioned in the offer letter). I was informed that I would receive my salary for these 16 days after 45 days from the date of termination (my joining date was Oct 3rd, 2016, and I was terminated on Oct 18th, 2016). After 45 days, I contacted HR and was then informed that they had changed their policy and would release my payment after 90 days from the date of termination. Now, they are categorically denying payment.
What should I do now, sir? Please suggest.

If your salary was below $18,000, lodge a complaint with the area labor inspector under the Payment of Wages Act. If it was more than that, then proceed under the Shops and Establishment Act. They will assist you. However, first, send them a legal notice and wait for 15 days for a reply. Then proceed accordingly.
