Please suggest to me how I can pursue LLB (Regular) from a reputable law college while working. I have some queries as per the points mentioned below:
1. Which university is good for LLB (Regular)? Is it feasible for professionals who are working?
2. I also prefer a university based on its location, as I am from Ludhiana, Punjab. Please provide recommendations accordingly.
3. Is an LLB degree valid for practicing law in court after retirement from a job?

2. Upon course completion, you must visit the BCI for registration. Following document verification, you need to sit for an all-India test to obtain a license to practice.
3. Upon passing the exam, register with your local bar and then proceed to private practice.
While some universities offer LL.B or B.A.L via distance learning, it is important to note that these are not recognized by the BCI for practice. However, you can pursue further studies such as LL.M. BCI mandates the recruitment of only full-time LL.M candidates for faculty positions.
My suggestion is that you may not practice in court after retirement, but you can provide consultancy services.
1. If you are a science graduate, consider preparing for the patent agent exam. Master Intellectual Property Laws through courses like M.B.L from NUJS. Additionally, engage in personal study as MBL alone may not suffice.
