Hello, I have one query related to ESIC. Actually, there is one employee in our company. At the time of joining, he didn't inform anything regarding his previous insurance number. Now, when he visited the ESIC office for Pehchan ID creation, ESIC officials objected, and they instructed us to transfer the amount to the previous insurance number to avail the benefit. I have never handled such issues. Can anyone guide me through the whole process? That would be really great. It's urgent, so I'm requesting you to assist me ASAP.
Thanks in advance!!

Continuing the same, I was trying to see his previous policy details through the "Register New Employee" tab, and by mistake, the same person got registered twice. What should I do now to delete one as during contribution, it will not be uploaded if only one name is written. Kindly suggest.

Dear member, the Branch Office of ESIC is the appropriate office which controls or has all the information regarding registration and payment of benefits to insured persons. Therefore, it is better to act as suggested by the Branch Office of ESIC to which said insured person or your unit is attached.
The online procedure is generally updated or corrected by ESIC itself. Therefore, it is better to comply with the directions of said office.

Dear Member,
The online procedure is generally updated or corrected by ESIC itself. Nowadays, ESIC online does not allow payment of contributions for a new number if the employee already has two insurance numbers. Therefore, it is better to contact the ESIC local office for further action.
