My employer is not giving me my UAN number as he says he will provide it after six months. Actually, I am working under his agency as an Outsource Agency and our contract is going to expire within one or two months. He has been depositing my EPF every month since September 2014. When I tried to search for my UAN through the UAN Portal, the message displayed was "your UAN is under process through ECR." So, please help me with how I can obtain my UAN from my employer.

Responsibility of the Employer

This is fully the responsibility of your employer. Before you joined your company in May 2014, the update was completed by the end of May itself. After May 2014, when you joined the company, your PF account number was updated in the PF portal according to your company's PF user manual.

Kindly follow up with HR and provide the following ID proofs or details:

- Bank Account Number
- IFSC Code Number
- PAN Number
- Aadhar Number
- Passport Number (with Expiry Date)
- Driving Licence Number (with Expiry Date)
- Ration Card Number
- Election Card Number

Submit any 3 ID proofs along with your bank account number to HR and get your updated UAN from your company.
