Kindly ensure that you keep the acknowledgment copy of your submission for future reference because I have seen numerous cases where corrections in DOB or Name have not been reflected despite several requests made to the PFO. The best procedure is to follow up every 15 days after the submission date. If it does not happen, walk up to the PFC or PF Assistant Commissioner (responsible for your region) and meet with them to discuss the issue. This process really works, and on the other hand, you get to know your PFC or PF Assistant Commissioner under whom your establishment falls, helping to build rapport. Try it out.

Dear Mr. Sharma, Greetings for the day. As per your query, I suggest that if there is any clerical error made on your end, there is no need to worry. Simply fill out Form-2 (Nomination & Declaration) of the respective employee with the necessary amendments. Include a covering note and enclose the relevant documents in support of the same. Submit these to the concerned EPFO at the earliest. Keep an acknowledged copy with you for reference. All necessary updates and amendments should be made from the EPFO's side.
