Hi All, I was born in Kolkata. I have 3 years of experience in Java development (2007-2010). However, my career has changed frequently. I have a gap of 2 years due to some personal reasons. In 2012, I moved to Bangalore for an IT-related job. Unfortunately, I didn't secure any IT-related job here. Consequently, I joined a call center for a non-voice process. After completing 1 year, I transitioned to a courier company as a channel executive. However, I am not satisfied with my current salary and job role.
Seeking Career Guidance
I am truly confused about which field is appropriate for me or which course would be preferable. I possess good computer knowledge, and my communication skills are excellent. Please help.

If you had stuck with the same, right now, you must have adapted lots of new technical expertise. Thus, shifting your line has put your experience on the backstep. Currently, Java is full of new technical terms.
Coming next to job satisfaction, because you worked in a highly professional and technical environment, you are feeling this job is inferior as per your experience and qualification.
My suggestion for you is to focus on new technical skills introduced in Java. Join some courses related to Java as a refresher course and try with small companies. Initially, just focus on getting the job in an IT company; don't focus on salary. Gradually make a stable career and get a good package.

With that in mind, do you think I can return to the software field? Alternatively, should I consider pursuing other IT-related training such as testing or networking?

Therefore, I am seeking advice on which field I should consider to secure a job more easily—software or testing/networking. I hold a Master's in Computer Applications (MCA) from DOEACC.
