Hi, I will abscond from a U.S.-based company next month, but I want to secure my amount of PF. Can anybody suggest how I can do this? Since I have not absconded yet, I will take further steps as suggested. Please help me ASAP; I have very little time to react.

Don't try to abscond; it is not regarded as a good move concerning your career perspective. Just give some medical reasons and quit the company. I quit two companies without giving notice using the same tactic 

Let's be honest on this forum of HR, where we all share good experiences and give good advice to leverage the careers of people in corporate. Absconding or leaving a company by showing fake reasons is something that no HR professional will comment on or recommend. There are ways to separate from a company in an amicable and legal manner. This will go a long way in maintaining the career image as well as personal growth.

Hi Anki It will not be a good idea to abscond , even if you say you are not well , your reason for leaving here and the one shared with the perspective employer will differ.
