I have 12 years of experience and recently received an offer from an MNC. However, for background verification, I do not have any issues with educational qualifications or experience. But concerning the criminal check, there are a few cases in my name (related to family financial issues and credit card payment delays) that have been attributed to me.
It is a good offer, but I am unsure about what will happen. The company has released the offer letter.
In my previous company, I did not receive my salary on time, which led to delayed payments. Additionally, due to being in a love marriage, my father filed a case against me, but later withdrew it. I am uncertain if there are any more cases, as I have not received any further communication.
I have taken loans from various third-party financial institutions and have paid off most of them. However, there is still some outstanding amount to be settled. This is a personal matter. I am concerned if these issues will affect the offer.
I kindly request urgent attention to this matter and appreciate your feedback.
Thanks.

Dear Khanna, Truth prevails and also wins in the long run. Bare all to the new employer if this is what it's all about. No one is blemishless; if there is a blemish, it should be disclosed. The employer will trust you more. If the facts are found out, they may not necessarily disturb your employment, but your reputation will be dented. It's better for you to disclose it yourself.
