I drew salary only for 3 months and left job two years ago. Can I claim EPF? The PF contribution as mentioned in my pay slip was Rs.780

Yes, you can. For each month, there will be an employee contribution of Rs. 780 and an employer contribution of Rs. 239 (780 - 541), amounting to Rs. 1019 that will be remitted to PF. Hence, there will be an accumulation of Rs. 3057 (3x1019) with interest, which can be withdrawn. Please note that after 3 years, your account will become inoperative, and no further interest will be added to your account. Therefore, hurry to apply for withdrawal.

Meena, Please once check with the PF authority, as PF amount for less than 6 months is not allowed to be withdrawn, I am not sure though, still u can check with the PF office directly.

When you respond to a query that has already been addressed, please ensure compliance with the provisions of the Act. There is no clause stating that a minimum of 6 months of contribution is required to avail of PF benefits. Your statement is accurate regarding PF pension. For EPS withdrawal benefits, a minimum contribution of 6 months is necessary. Even if the EPS service duration is less than 6 months, it can be transferred to be combined with future services.
