Dear Seniors, please guide and clarify regarding pension withdrawal in response to my query below:

Pension Eligibility After Resignation

If an employee has completed 21 years of service in a private limited company and resigns, when would they be eligible for receiving a pension? Additionally, if the employee is above 50 years old, are they eligible to receive a pension before turning 58 years of age?

Procedure and Pension Amount

If so, what is the procedure for this, and how much pension would they receive after turning 50 years old and then at 58 years of age?

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi Preeti, If the company is private it has NO liability to pay pension to any one irrespective of age and tenure of employement, as per labour law. Its the companies call wheather to pay or not.
