We are a Mumbai-based stock broking firm. This is regarding the Salary Structure that my company is following:

- Basic: 67% of CTC
- HRA: 20% of CTC
- City Compensatory Allowance: 13% of CTC

Instead of EPF, there is a deduction of PPF equivalent to one Basic salary of 30 days. Additionally, there is a professional tax deduction of ₹200 per month and ₹2500 per year.

Is this the correct format, or can we make any changes to it? Please share your views on the same; I will be thankful to you.

Thanks

You are not allowed to substitute PPF for EPF. Please check the discussions on the site for details of when PF is exempted. If you qualify that then it’s ok, else you are sitting on a time bomb
