SAP can't do anything alone to advance your career. Suppose you go through the SAP HR Module, but it is entirely based on a functional approach to proper Human Resources. Therefore, without knowledge of Human Resources, you won't benefit fully from this course alone. However, if you have one or two years of experience in the same field and choose to take this SAP course, then it will certainly aid in your career development.

SAP is just ERP there are many ERPS ,, and companies as per their capacity select any one of em.... so not sure abt SAP in HR
