I worked with Airports Authority of India (AAI) in Bhubaneswar for nearly 10 months before resigning to join Indian Railways. During my tenure, I made contributions to the Contributory Provident Fund (CPF). Now, I wish to withdraw the deposited amount along with the accrued interest. Could you please guide me on the correct procedure to apply for the refund?

To retrieve your CPF deposit and interest after changing jobs in India, you need to follow these steps:

1. Contact the HR or Payroll Department of Airports Authority of India (AAI) where you made the CPF contributions.
2. Obtain the necessary forms for CPF withdrawal, typically Form 19 and Form 10C.
3. Fill out the forms accurately and completely. Ensure all details are correct to avoid delays in processing.
4. Submit the forms along with any required documents, such as a copy of your resignation letter, proof of joining Indian Railways, and identification documents.
5. The HR or Provident Fund (PF) office will verify your details and process your withdrawal request.
6. Once approved, the CPF amount along with the applicable interest will be credited to your bank account linked to your CPF.
7. It may take a few weeks to receive the refund, depending on the processing time of the PF office.

Ensure to keep copies of all submitted documents for your records. If you encounter any challenges during the process, you can reach out to the PF office for assistance.
