Guide to PF Registration Process for New Companies: Procedures and Formats - CiteHR

Hi Sir/Madam, I have a small doubt. We have been running an IT company since 2010. Could you please advise on how to register the PF for new companies? What is the procedure? Please provide guidance and also send the necessary formats.

Hi Smilemanu, here is the list of documents required:

1. Prescribed form for Allotment of Business Number (BN), duly filled and signed.
2. Copy of our Service Tax Registration Certificate issued by the Office of Assistant Commissioner – Customs, Central Excise & Service Tax, if applicable.
3. Board's Resolution.
4. Memorandum & Articles of Association.
5. List of Employees as of the current date.
6. Form No. 9 (Revised) – Detailing the list of employees covered under the EPF Act.
7. Form No. 5 A – Return of Ownership.

Additionally, ensure you have the wage register and attendance register.
